Swiss Re select Business Data Quality to help integrate $6.8bn General Electric Insurance Solutions acquisition

Swiss Re, one of the world's largest and most diversified reinsurers, has selected Business Data Quality (BDQ) to provide software and services to help integrate the UK Life and Health business of its recent $6.8bn acquisition of General Electric Co's (GE) Insurance Solutions business into its existing business operations.

After a competitive evaluation, BDQ were selected as the supplier of choice for the data analysis component of the project. Chris Bland, Managing Director of BDQ, said "Obviously, we see our win at Swiss Re is a clear endorsement of how BDQ can help companies deliver managed, predictable migrations for business critical data. It also reinforces our credibility within the Financial Services sector following on from previous successes with Tokio Marine Europe."
